Sorry, but while I have lots of Solaris 8 boxes, I'm not running 9.2.3
in production yet (no really compelling reason to upgrade from a
slightly older version of BIND 9). I've run 9.2.3 and later versions on
test boxes, but I've never seen the symptom you described earlier...
