Glue Record

Hi,
I have questions about Glue Record (Fetch Glue option),
- is it still supported in BIND version 9?
- does implementation of Glue Record (in Bind 9) always require recursion
enabled/Yes?
- is it possible to enable Glue Record but disable recursion?
