nsupdate not working at all

Hi,=20

when I use nsupdate to add new records into DNS, nothing happens.

It looks like this:

# nsupdate
> update add testxyz.sunflowers.de. 3600 A 192.168.0.15
>

And thats all. No error message, no reply from the DNS server, no entry i=
n a
log file. And the record hasnt been entered aswell.

I m using bind 9.2.3 on Linux 2.4.21.
