That's not surprising considering that the first version of BIND 9 that ran
on Win32
was 9.2.0.

Look at the release notes that come with the distribution and follow them
first.
Also you MUST include a "directory" directive in the options {} section of your
named.conf file which points to the location of the directory containing
the files.

Look at the application event log entries and see what errors they show.
Post the
errors here and someone will tell you what's wrong.

You didn't post any symptoms so it's hard to answer. The mind-reader is offline
and the crystal ball is on the blink. I only have a paper-tape punch for
reading
your problems.
