problems with dns/bind - new user

Hi, I'm a newbie, blindly setting up dns configuration files, and
sendmail config. files but to no avail because my sendmail MTA will:

send mail to sympatico.ca(my ISP), but nowhere else
not receive mail coming from outside my intranet

I'm trying to set up sendmail and DNS on my 192.168.1.100 machine.
This is the same machine that is siddha.ca to the rest of the world.
I'm using Dyndns's mydyndns service to update my dynamic IP. I am also
using mydyndns to alias siddha.ca to tao.siddha.ca(DNS server),
mail.siddha.ca(mail), and www.siddha.ca(web).

when I try to set up my DNS, I get these error messages:

Jul 10 16:03:02 localhost named[21731]: master zone
"1.168.192.in-addr.arpa" (IN) rejected due to errors (serial 1)

db.siddha is commented-out right now, not sure if I need it..

any help would be appreciated...I'd really like to get my email
working..
