Most of the queries logged (judging by the posted log) are for reverse
lookups.

Is that internal IP address by any chance a webserver, as Apache will
try to log the proper name of clients contacting it, a feature that can
easily be switched off if you don't care, or if you prefer to reduce the
traffic by looking them all up at reporting time. Some firewall logging
systems also do this, hopefully not on the firewall itself.
