Hi!
How does a resolver do round-robin on NS records. Scenario: I have a DNS server authoritive for e.g. .mycompany.com This server has a e.g. two NS entries for hr.mycompany.com When a resolver makes are query for www.hr.mycompany.com the server will return two NS entries for the above domain. Question: When the resolver receives the responses (two NS entries), will the resolver do load balancing?!? Buttom line: I would like to have a round-robin like service for the NS records, causing the NS servers for hr.mycompany.com to be more of less equally loaded. Regards, Anders M. Jørgensen |
