hi there,
i need to know how to reduce dns traffic on port 53 from external. i have a huge amount of lame server reolving messages. ok, i can disable the writing in my logs by using the logging option in named.conf, although the traffic rises and rises on port 53. i tried first to set recursion no, but after that no one from internal can resolve anything. so i tried allow-recursion only to internal, but that didn't affected the lame server queries. please can someone tell me how to prevent my primary/secondary dns servers being affected on this much lame server queries?
