Hi!
I run a mandrake linux server on my LAN, running apache with Dynamic Virtual Hosts. On the lan I use the DNS server to route the requests to the apache server and the server uses the name (its name based virtual hosting) to determine what page to send. Now, I would like to make these 'virtual hosts' available to the internet so others can view them. I have opened up the firewall (port 80), but to be honest im not sure if I can make the individual hosts accessible (and how!)... Is this possible - using Pre-routing and ports? or any other way??? Thanks, Graham! |

Have you actually tried to view these pages off your network?
Try entering in your domains here: http://samspade.org/t/safe and see if you see your source for each domain. Rach PS: mandrake's apache is a BITCH to configure IMHO.
