Default browser address line not updated

I know that I have found/read information about this before, but cannot
re-find it.
If someone can point me to the url or directive(s) I'll do the
reading/research.

The url/address in the browser does not change from: www.mysite.org
even though the user can navigate through the site w/o problem.
They may be at: www.mysite.org\level-2\level3\somepage.html
but it does not show at the top.
However, when I hover over a link, the full path shows in the status bar at
the bottom
This is true for both IE and Netscape.

Note that I can save a shortcut (IE) and even though I cannot find where the
full path is stored in the shortcut, when I use the link I get to the
intended page.

Oh,
When I hover over a link, the status bar at the bottom shows my IP address
in place of my domain name. I believe that is a clue. Some DNS resolution
issue?

Finally, I am using auth_digest successfully to require uid/pw access.

thanks
-ceej

There is a program called IP Updater. That program updates your Ip
Address everytime your ipaddress changes.

You can get that program by going to http://www.ipupdater.com

Hope this helps
