jrivera@coffeechemistry.com (Joseph Rivera) who wrote in alt.apache.configuration: >Im a new to apache and have one easy question. If Im hosting several >sites on my server do I have one httpd.conf file (in each of their >respective /conf folders) or do I have a master http.conf file? You only need the one master httpd.conf to host several (or hundreds of, if that is the case) web sites. Read all you can about Virtual Hosts -- http://httpd.apache.org/docs-2.0/vhosts/. Set the web sites up as virtual hosts. Attempt to do it first, then if you run into problems, ask here for help, we'll be glad to provide assistance. You might want to search the archive of this group because the problem has probably been answered already.
