My first server, dcbssft001.guww.net is where Apache is loaded. IE has been configured to use this proxy for all HTTP and HTTPS requests. If a HTTP or HTTPS request cannot be resolved by this proxy server, it needs it to forward the request to an alternative proxy server, newproxy.external.com. How can this be done on Apache 1.3.29 without using DNS Zone Forwading (i.e. programming the httpd.conf with the necessary instructions to facilitate this requirement)? I have tried to use the ProxyRemote command but to no avail. Any help on this will be greatfully received! Regards, Richard Warden |
