Default Apache service start twice and consumes cpu resources

Hi!

I use Apache 2.0.55 and PHP 4.4.4 on a Windows 2000 Pro SP4.

Everything went fine until today

When I start Apache server, two identical processes appear in the task list
and one of them consumes up to 40% of cpu resources.
When I stop Apache, both processes disappear.

I don't know exactly when it all mess up, maybe after a Windows update or
after installing "Comodo Antivirus" and "Comodo Firewall".

I tried to stop either Antivirus and Firewall, but got no results.
I disinstalled Apache. Restarted Windows. Re-installed Apache.
Nothing!

Can someone help solve this?
Thanks

Mida
