I've recently upgraded (from 2.0.54 to 2.2.3) and am using the same
configurations for V.hosts and Directories I was getting a 403 Forbidden code, and now 404 error after I removed, this config directive: "Deny from All" example error: [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: D:/www I suspect that this is something tricky related to configuring V.hosts on 2.2.x Is there something new ? I've specified DocumentRoot in ever V.host and before that used <Directory .... > to explicitly control access [ None of V.hosts have a D:/www in the path ] I also notice that (under some strange rule) it is not using the httpd.conf directives for access.log and error.log but has come up with its own name based on my 1st V.host and starting with "dummy-host". I don't have access.log's specified in my V.hosts, but I do have error.log's specified. I did review some of the recent posts, but in no way have done a full research regarding this. If I've missed something fundamental regarding the way this works (or has been changed), I'll be glad to review any references. TIA. |
