Yes. Just delete the old directory (save your own stuff first though)...
and perhaps keep the old httpd.conf as a reference.

Or better still - don't run the old version.
Install the new version in any directory you want.
Run the new version until you are happy.
then delete the old version.

.... and change your (pseudo)name. It is just a polite thing to do.
