Default Custom 404 page problems

Visit this page in Firefox,
http://www.visitscotland.com/x

Receive raw HTML

Same page in IE 6 shows more or less the right page, but still some
header info.

the content type returned is Content-Type: text/html;charset=ISO-8859-1

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

thanks

Have you tested an other 404 page, so that you see if this is a problem with
your code or with the webserver?

Not quite sure what you mean - all the non existent URLs on the site
have the same problem but the test version of the site doesn't have the
problem.
