Apache - checn subfolder locations

We have several sites running under Apache using Virtual hosts. We
want to have one subfolder live ourside of the main root. An Example
expllanation: http://mysite.com lives in /user/webroot.
http://mysite.com/folder1 lives in /user/webroot/folder1. That's
pretty easy.

We want http://mysite.com/folder2 to live in /user/webroot2

Will anyone offer suggestions? I hope this is not the case of not
seeing the forest for the trees.
