Default how can I switch server?

Hi folks, I have this strange problem: I've got some applications
running on tomcat and I've configured it to listen on a certain port
that is not 80.
On the other hand I would like to have apache listening on port 80 and,
depending on the application requested, connecting to tomcat on the
desired port.
There is one way to do this that is "redirecting" the current page to
the desired.
Is there another way (somehow configured into httpd.conf...) to do this?

Bye

Davide

Mmm, it seems that the directive RedirectMatch is exactly what I need...
