Hi,
I'm running Apache 1.3.33. One of our clients has a customer who has problems accessing dynamic pages using IE. The customer's IT department claims the problem is that HTTP only supports two concurrent connections and that the page "requires" > 2 connections. They also provided http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;279745, which seems to imply that IE has a problem, but the IT department claims that this is a server problem and can be fixed by "reprogramming" the page. I'm looking for information about how to deal with this (other than to tell the customer to get a real browser). Thanks, Jim |

I'm waiting on sufficient information to attempt to reproduce this. The original complaint did not include anything useful (like a URL, etc.). >> that this is a server problem and can be fixed by "reprogramming" the >> page. > >I'd say that if their client is broken, they have to fix their client, >and not pretend to broke the server to accomodate that. That's my opinion also. However, any supporting documentation that I can come up with helps get my customer service people off my ass. Thanks, Jim |
