Hi there,
just a little question: On a debian machine, ~/htdocs and any subdirectory is accessible from apache. So, any setting within a .htaccess file, like "IndexIgnore*" in directory ~/htdocs/temp is "inherited" to any subdirectory like ~/htdocs/temp/subdir My question now is, how to "disable" IndexIgnore in ~/htdocs/temp/subdir without disabling it in ~/htdocs/temp In the latter directory there is no need to fade out the filelist because it is htpasswd- protected and only accessible for "trusted" users. I cannot find this item in the apache doc, so can someone point me where to look for a solution? Thanks in advance, Markus -- Please reply to group only.
