Issue with apache2 configuration with tomcat, openlaszlo

Hello All
I have been struggling with configuration issues on apache2, tomcat ,
and mod_jk.

My objective is as follows.
I want the url http://www.myurl.com/mydir to trigger a mod_perl2
handler which is configured in apache2. I want the url
http://www.myurl.com/mydir/myapp.lzx to be an openlaszlo app that is
served by tomcat.
I am using mod_jk 1.2.18, apache2.2 and tomcat 5.5. Could someone
suggest a configuration for apache2 and tomcat that would acheive the
above objective.
