I'm sort of new to running an Apache server. I recently decided to
try to make a MySQL database. When I type the command "mysql" I get the following error: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysql/mysql.sock' (2) I do have a directory named "/var/run/mysql/" but it is empty. Where could I get this, and any other files I might be missing. I am running Slackware Linux, if that matters. |
