I am having problems with Apache and Zonealarm.
When my server PC boots it loads Apache as a service and Zonealarm. Unfortunately Zonealarm loads a bit slow and prevents Apache from serving HTTP which loads up mor quickly. Apache is fully loaded when ZA is still loading. The solution is to wait until the PC is fully booted with ZA and other programs ready. Then I shutdown ZA, Apache and other server-type programs I have. After that I re-start ZA - wait until it is fully loaded and then re-start the other programs (and Apache). Only then will Apache and other server work OK. The Zonealarm forum has similar posts but no other solution other than human assisted manual re-start. Is there a way to shut down Apache, wait a couple of minutes (ZA takes about that time to fully boot) and then restart? That would be a more automatic solution. |
