I tried setting up a web page w/ my computer as
the server ( A Macintosh G4 ). The Jaguar OSX operating system comes w/ Apache server. I can not set this up I think the problem is in port 80. Verizon connect via port 80 so some how there is a problem here I have heard by going into UNIX the configuation can be changed, changing the port to 8080. I am a newbie to UNIX and I just want to try this out, has anyone been successful in this endeavor.? Any ideas please Thanks Kevin -- http://www.soundclick.com/kevinduggan http://www.kevsblues.com |

not entirely sure about osx version but you need to edit the httpd.conf and locate Port 80 and change it to Port 8080 and restart apache
