Can ApacheSSL auto upload an intermediate crt to a user?

It appears a lot of IE's have an old L3 Verisign cert. This creates a warning
with those users connect to our secure website.

I have the intermediate cert from Verisign. How can I make apacheSSL present
this new certficiate to a user?
