No Space Left On Device... trying to install Apache ASP

Good Afternoon

I'm trying to install Apache ASP with cpan (ie: install Bundle::Apache::ASP
and the cpan prompt)

As the istallation progresses I end up with the message:

'couldn't mkdir tmp: No space left on device at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/CPAN.pm
line 4873'

According to 'df -k', the only filesystem that has no free space is '/'

Everything else it at 10% full or less.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to sort this??

Your disk is full.

Maybe the disk at CPAN is full!
