What do you consider an _attempt_?

Is Apache -specify version- running on the same machine?

Default Hacking Attempt

Each time I try to view the .PHP files I have stored in the htdocs
folder of the apache folder, I see hacking attempt in both browser
(Firefox Portable and IExplorer), I am running Windows Vista Home Basic
32bit. What could be the cause?

How do you see that it's a hacker attempt (sorry, question on another

I was saying whenever I try to view the .php files in the htdocs on my
system I see Hacking Attempt in the upper right hand corner of the
browsers (Firefox and Iexplorer), I'm not seeing that anymore now though
- I guess the server was not configured properly, I went throught the
configurations again and I am now able to view the files.
- Thanks Tho
