Default localhost

Hi there,

I recently installed Apache 2.0.58 on my windows XP. After installation,
I checked http://localhost/ to see if Apache is correctly installed, but it
lead me to http://www.att.net/cgi-bin/websearch...&qry=localhost that
wasn't expected by me. I thought it's my internet provider's problem and
asked them for help, but they couldn't help. I then tried http://127.0.0.1/
but it showed " The page cannot be displayed". What's the problem with my
installation? I have changed the port from 80 to 8080 because 80 doesn't
work. Does this matter? Thanks in advance. :(
