hello sir,
I am new to portlet development. i am using tomcat4.1.29,ant1.5.4,jetspeed1.4final. i has installed jetspeed in tomcats webapps folder and its working. i am trying to install jportal tutorial in jetspeed. i have created a folder named jportal in tomcats webapps folder and extract the jportal.jar. could any one help me after this what i has to do. I am new too so my suggestion may not work but may help you to look and find
the solution. If you look for a directory name something like conf and find some sort of ..xml file you should be to find one file that has something like docbase. That usually points to ROOT under WebApps. Whatever it points to you can modify the corresponding index.jsp to point to or reference your portlet.. Alternatively, you can change the docbase itself. There is also a directory of documentation under tomcat. look for it and you will find examples and instructions there.
