I would think the easiest thing to do would be to simply manually turn
it back on (if desired) once your corpus has been fed to Bayes.
Remember to feed the items as your amavisd-new user, and to check the
progress as your amavisd-new user, for example:

su amavis -c 'sa-learn --dump magic'
