I am using Slackware 12.0 and amavisd-new 2.5.2.

Suddenly, at 2007-12-02 05:15, my amavisd-new starts to shot this
to maillog:

Dec 2 10:59:36 woops amavis[17646]: (!!)TROUBLE in child_init_hook:
BDB can't connect db env.
at /var/amavis/db: No such file or directory, No such file or
directory. at (eval 48) line 309.

Dec 2 10:59:36 woops amavis[17647]: (!)_DIE: Suicide in
child_init_hook: BDB can't connect db env.
at /var/amavis/db: No such file or directory, No such file or
directory. at (eval 48) line 309.\n

I had to stop/start it again.

This is the amavis information about BDB.

(...) amavis[17777]: Creating db in /var/amavis/db/; BerkeleyDB 0.32,
libdb 4.4

I would not like to disable amavisd-agent and amavisd-nanny. I
still don't use them, but I would like to test.

At these days, any new recomendation about the problem?

Thank you for your attention.

Regards,

C=E1ssio
