After 10 minutes an error shows in the log: Oct 25 18:36:19 mx1 amavis[20684]: (20684) ClamAV-clamd result: clean Oct 25 18:41:40 mx1 amavis[20684]: (20684) (!)SA TIMED OUT, backtrace: at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/DBBasedAddrList.pm line 165\n\teval {...} called at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/DBBasedAddrList.pm line 165\n\tMail::SpamAssassin::DBBasedAddrList::remove _entry('Mail::SpamAssassin::DBBasedAddrList=HASH(0 xce16994)', 'HASH(0xcf22314)') called at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/AutoWhitelist.pm line 135\n\tMail::SpamAssassin::AutoWhitelist::check_ad dress('Mail::SpamAssassin::AutoWhitelist=HASH(0xce 0d714)', 'x.y@domain.com', 141.156.176.57) called at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/Plugin/AWL.pm line 356\n\teval {...} called at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/Mail/SpamAssassin/Plugin/AWL.pm line 352\n\tMail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::AWL::check_from _in_auto_whitelist('Mail::SpamAssassin::Plugin::AW L=HASH(0xc34c6c0)', 'Mail::SpamAssassin::PerMsgStatus=HASH(0xcf6[...] We are running AWL locally as a file, and it's currently 1.3GB large. The setup is Amavis 2.5.2, SA 3.1.9, Sendmail pre-queue with amavisd-milter 1.3.1 on RHEL 5. In /etc/mail/spamassassin/local.cf we have: lock_method flock Any ideas? I didn't find much on google.
