[AMaViS-user] Problem with file command - amavis process hangs

Hi All,

I have a wierd problem that just started to crop up. Amavis is
spawning the file command to determine the attachment types and file
is hanging. The file is 263k in size, however a hexdump returns:

sh-3.1# hexdump p005
0000000 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a
*
00406e0 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a 0a0a
00406ec

I know that this isn't a problem with amavis - but has anyone else
seen this type of behaviour?
