Default [AMaViS-user] Where did this DSN come from?

I was testing my Courier/Amavisd-new-2.4.0 installation and everything
was working properly when I received this "Delivery status
notification" to my account (presumably aliased from postmaster).

Your message WAS SUCCESSFULLY RELAYED to:

The message WAS NOT relayed to:

This delivery report was generated by the program amavisd-new at host

Return-Path: <root@externalserver.buc.com>
Message-ID: <courier.4443F7A1.000012DE@externalserver.buc.co m>
Subject: RulesDuJour/externalserver.buc.com: SARE Stocks Ruleset) RuleSet
has been
updated
--------------------------------------------

(email addresses hidden to protect the guilty)

I had just run RulesDuJour and expected the message to be sent to my
address (the one that shows successful above). The email referenced
did NOT contain Eicar and (as far as I can tell) was NOT sent to the
other two email addresses. I had been testing eicar with messages
sent to those addresses previously, but this is not one of those
messages. I have not sent ANY messages to this server with multiple
recipients during my testing.

Also note that the ids in the Reject lines do not match up with the id
number in the reference code. If I search for "3829-3" in my maillog,
I find an eicar rejection for a completely different email.

Where did this message come from? As far as I know, I have not
configured Amavis to send any type of DSN. Is something odd going on
here, or am I misinterpreting something?
