I have an FC4 + postfix + dovecot + amavisd-new + dspam setup and it's
working pretty well. It took 4 days to get setup and running well enough to consider it stable but I'm happy with it. The one thing I haven't conquered is how to set this up so I can train dspam on things it missed. That is those things which are spam but not seen that way be either SA or dspam, things not pegged as spam by dspam and with a spam score lower than the SA tag level. dspam is having a roug= h time right now averaging only about 44% accuracy but I know if I could train on the junk that is getting through I could improve that dramatically. I've tried to setup an alias piped through dpsam but dpam always complain= s that either nobody is untrusted or when I add add nobody to the trusted users a message saying the signature doesn't match. --enable-signature-headers is used in my config. I search the archives bu= t couldn't find what I was looking for. Ideally what I want to do is forward the messages as attachments from my POP client or even from SquirrelMail to either spam or ham aliases. I hav= e squirrelmail's spam_buttons plugin installed and it works but some of my accounts fall into the retarded category and I don't want them screwing i= t up. I haven't tried the amavismewsql plugin yet. SquirrelMail isn't my preferred means of doing this anyway. My accounts who use it do so becaus= e they haven't got a clue how to use a real IMAP client. If anything the ones who use the webmail are the ones I don't want training the statistic= s engine. Anyone have this simple alias based training configuration that works for the amavis dspam user? Either in postfix, aliases or maildrop? If not do you have any other ideas that would accomplish the same thing? I assume that over time I won't need to keep training it so these can be temporary= ..
