Something is signalling the server to terminate; you need to find what that something is. The timing (just after the hour) suggests that it might be some periodic function such as log rotation, which is signalling it (forcing a close) but then not restarting it. I recall somebody else on a Linux platform reporting this recently on the mailing list, but I don't remember if it was SUSE or what their final resolution was.
