Indeed, looking at a system with Postfix, one amavisd-new process, clamd and throwing in just a few necessary processes, I come up with at the very least 84MB. 96MB is probably more realistic minimum. I suppose you could try to run half of this in swap space but I also suppose it will not be pretty. In my personal experience stuff starts to break when forced to run in swap space. Apparently this may apply in your case also.
