[AMaViS-user] amavisd failing after upgrade

Hi,

I upgraded amavisd and spamassassin to the current versions and now
amavisd shouts at me like :

amavis[9068]: (09055-01) TROUBLE in process_request: Error writing a
SMTP response to the socket: Bad file descriptor at (eval 44) line 764,
<GEN7> line 33.

I put up logging to level 5 but this did not reveal anything useful. All
directories are there, permissions set correctly etc.
What does BDB mean ? Which socket ? The amavisd socket file is where it
always was !

I would be grateful for any hints beacause I had to take amavisd out of
the line now and people are littered with spam.
