In my amavisd.conf, I've got max_servers = 15 and max_requests = 20. I know that the FAQs state that you need to play with these values to try and tune your machine. These values worked well with the RedHat 9 setup, but I'm not so sure with Solaris. Anyone out there running Solaris 9 had any luck with either adding more or less to max_servers or max_requests? Since it looks like Solaris take much more time to create a new process than it does Linux, I'm wondering if I should up the max_requests to something like 100.
