No, in that case your LDA is virtual(8).

This question should better be asked on the postfix-users list.

The above text tells that a lookup done by virtual(8) does take into
account possible address extension in the lookup key, but when it
obtains some result, it does not append the original extension to the
result (does not propagate it). I'm not sure what this implies
in your case.
