But even if you're not a hard-core believer in the "email should be text-only" religion, the smtp server is not the place to be injecting the junk. |

The wrapper, however, has to be aware of MIME extensions, i.e. it wouldn't be wise just to add some text. Instead, you need to parse the message and then you need to decide whether you want to add an attachment and/or to extend one of the existing parts. If you really want to do this, you might be interested in the Perl modules MIME::Parser and MIME::Entity. I am not aware of any ready-to-use solutions. Andreas. |
