vdelivermail...account is locked...postmaster@

I am hoping someone can help me.

If you send email to the postmaster account the email bounces with the
following error message:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at mail.xxxx.org.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following
addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<postmaster@xxxx.org>:
vdelivermail: account is locked email bounced postmaster@xxxx.org

I am not sure when this started happening. So far, I haven't found
anything to help me troubleshoot this problem. Can someone point a
direction for me to take?

Just a gues, but is the location to which the mail is to be delivered
have the sticky bit (T) set? This also might be a function of the
delivery mechanism you use since this is the default qmail-local's error.
