Default mbox format for virtual users.

Hello everybody.
This is a newbie question, maybe.
I've installed qmail using qmailrocks.
I'm using vpopmail for managing domains and users.
Since I want the mbox format for mailboxes, I've set up the default
delivery mode to mailbox. Here's my defaultdelivery file:

#cat /var/qmail/control/defaultdelivery
../Mailbox

The problem is that new created users are still using maildir format.
Obviously I've done a qmailctl restart, and I don't have any specific
..qmail file.
My platform is Linux Fedora.
Thanks in advance.

You need to check whether vpopmail when users are added, creates a
..qmail file with the ./Maildir/.

P.S. a Maildir format for storing email messages is better and faster.
Not sure why you chose to use qmail and then reverted back to the
sendmail mechanism for storing messages.

Unfortunately no, there's no .qmail file.
The reason why I'm temporarily reverting back to mbox is that I'm
migrating a Eudora Mail Server running on Mac OS to qmail on Linux, and
I thought that Eudora used the mbox format. But I'm disappointed to
realize that it's a legacy format, so I won't be able to migrate
existing mailboxes to my new qmail server...
Anybody has an idea or experience in EIMS->qmail migration?
Thanks in advance.

Please elaborate what you mean? You could have a cron job that would
use the maildir2mbox binary to convert a Maildir format style mailbox to
an mbox style.

Not quite sure why you are going through this since qmail has a POP3
capability. If you need IMAP, I would recommend courier-IMAP.

I believe there is a utility that would convert an mbox format to a
Maildir format if that is what you mean. mbox2maildir will do the trick
it can be seen here http://www.qmail.org/mbox2maildir
