Tarpitting

There is this patch for qmail-smtpd which does the tarpitting
www.palomine.net/qmail/tarpit.html

But i think it is lacking proper documentation. i need quite an
explanation
of how it is working and how to use that in my qmail-smtp
configuration.
Your help will be much appreciated.

What documentation are you looking for?

The person clearly stated how it works.

apply the patch.
set the info in the control files or/and define the environmental
variables. and you're done.
