Display problem when sending Html email

We have created an application that sends an html email on demand. All
is well through a POP3, or AOL, yahoo. But, when passed through
Exchange server, the email has a text line inserted at top of the
content that says Return_Path...etc.

Why is this inserted and how can we make this display properly in all
clients/environments?
