Default smtp auth and tcpserver ...?

I have installed qmail-smtpd-auth and recompiled qmail with make setup
check, when i try to start this application, with :

tcpserver smtp stream tcp nowait qmaild /usr/sbin/tcpd
/var/qmail/bin/tcp-env tcp-env /var/qmail/bin/qmail-smtpd
/usr/bin/checkvpw /bin/true

this is the error:

tcpserver: fatal: unable to figure out port number for stream

Someone knows this error?

Thanks in advance
Stefano

It looks like you're trying to run an inetd.conf entry as a
command. That won't work.
