Hi, Recently I installed postfix+mysql+cyrus-sasl2 (os: FreeBSD 7.0 stable , software installed from ports). I use mysql to store users passwords. Everything has been installed without any problem but... When I trying to connect to the server and check if my configuration works - it doesn't. I use tcpdump to check connection between mysql and postfix. Everything works fine. I can connect to mysql , I get response from server but in the end I get warning: unknown: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: another step is needed in authentication postfix/smtpd[91142]: > unknown: 535 5.7.0 Error: authentication failed: another step is needed in authentication I don't know what can cause this problem. Maybe someone can point me what I'm do ing wrong. Best regards, Sebastian |
