Hi all,
I think I messed up my perms since I'm in a situation in which some process try to sendd mail using 'mail' command that in turn try to use send-mail and postdrop. The last postdrop complaints as reported: postfix/postdrop[14004]: warning: mail_queue_enter: create file maildrop/554258.14004: Permission denied postfix/postdrop[14006]: warning: mail_queue_enter: create file maildrop/551052.14006: Permission denied postfix/postdrop[14004]: warning: mail_queue_enter: create file maildrop/558865.14004: Permission denied I already run "postfix -set-permissions" and normal mail are correctly working apart from messages from logcheck. I'm on a debian etch (stable). root ... /usr/sbin/cron root ... \_ /USR/SBIN/CRON logcheck ... \_ /bin/sh -c if [ -x /usr/sbin/logcheck ]; then nice -n10 /usr/sbin/logcheck ; fi ... logcheck ... | \_ /bin/bash /usr/sbin/logcheck logcheck ... | \_ lockfile-touch /var/lock/logcheck/ logcheck logcheck ... | \_ mail -s mit2 2008-03-12 11:02 Security Events root logcheck ... | \_ send-mail -i -- root logcheck ... | \_ /usr/sbin/postdrop -r logcheck ... \_ /usr/sbin/sendmail -i -FCronDaemon -oem root logcheck ... \_ /usr/sbin/postdrop -r Any hints? TIA sandro *:-) |
