Postfix user stats

I would like to generate detailed 'per user' stats with all.log or maillog.
Then I can mail it to that user to inform him/her about these statistics.
Now using 'grep' but as this isn't a programming tool, it going out of hand.
Besides that, I can't get things optically streamlined (sort by date per
hour etc). Do you know a script that does the trick (php, perl, whatever)
and want to share it with me?
