Hello everyone,
I have the following problem with postfix: eMail keeps bouncing with the following error: From: Mail Delivery System <mailer-daemon@stud.informatik.uni-erlangen.de> To: sithglan@stud.uni-erlangen.de Subject: Undelivered Mail Returned to Sender Date: Mon, 13 Mar 2006 12:18:04 +0100 (CET) [-- Attachment #1: Notification --] [-- Type: text/plain, Encoding: 7bit, Size: 0.6K --] This is the Postfix program at host faui03.informatik.uni-erlangen.de. I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below. For further assistance, please send mail to <postmaster> If you do so, please include this problem report. You can delete your own text from the attached returned message. The Postfix program <sithglan@stud.informatik.uni-erlangen.de> (expanded from <sithglan@cip.informatik.uni-erlangen.de>): mail forwarding loop for sithglan@stud.informatik.uni-erlangen.de [-- Attachment #2: Delivery report --] when I bounce an eMail to myself. I do that very often and I think that this is a very annoying behaviour of postfix. Is there a way to tell postifx to just do the hop count checking and no magic on the headers, like sendmail for example does? Gruesse, Thomas |
